Summer 2020 Camps: About COVID-19

To our community:

Please be assured, in these uncertain times, that we here at GBTC are very aware of ongoing health and safety advisories. Our programs will be offered only when they can be provided safely and without concerns regarding the spread of infection.

At the moment, all our camp programs are still scheduled to go forward as planned; we will be adjusting our plans, if necessary, in view of safety, and we will be in touch with parents and families as this process progresses. We will also post updates here on our Web site.

If, based on public health advisories, it is clear that the camps cannot be offered in our normal "in-person" format, we will be making the summer programs available in an online virtual camp environment, using Zoom. This will require only a computer (desktop, laptop or tablet) and a webcam / microphone. The program will be as lively and energized as possible, and will provide an environment in which kids can also interact with each other and engage in physical activities and movement. We hope to work with our families, and with the community, so that we can continue to provide trusted and enriching programs for your kids.

Our low-income discounts and multiple-week discounts remain in effect, for almost all of our weeks and locations.

Our refund policy remains unchanged; it is as follows:

Refunds must be requested at least three weeks before the start of camp. Refund amounts are as follows: Until May 15: full refund, less $ 30 (per registration) processing; Until three weeks before camp: 50% refund. Within three weeks of start date of camp: no refund.

In view of the present uncertainty, we will be extending the deadline for our early-registration discounts; the discounts will be in effect until April 30 (They were originally scheduled to end on March 31).
